As soon as we came back from last year’s Seoul trip, I decided it’s time to go to Japan.  We are not exactly “weeds” here at the house, but the idea of going and visiting the land of the rising sun became a real possibility.

After buying some travel guides for Japan (thank you for the tips Lonely Planet guide books), reviewing threads in reddit.com, travelers reviews on google.com / tripadvisor.com / klook.com / kayak.com / etc., made my plans, book the flight & hotel rooms, and started the count down to leave the SF Bay Area towards Japan.  Little did we know that Japan was the “it” place to go this year.

Needless to say, we had a great time.  The locations were great, food was good, people we dealt with were friendly.  I would recommend everyone and anyone to put Japan on your to do list.
